HOW DOES AVEPANE WORK?

A significant part of its patrimony is constituted by the voluntary time dedicated by honorable and socially sensitive persons of our society and with the intelligent, consecutive, generous and altruistic assistance of the representatives of the media in Venezuela.

Each year, AVEPANE organizes Fund Raising Campaigns, that represent an incalculable economic contribution, without which it would be impossible for the organization to be maintained. AVEPANE is responsible for financing the expenses of the free services that are provided to a population of scarce economic means, that are covered at a high percentage with the amounts collected through these Campaigns: Governmental and Private Subsidies, Donations, Scholarships, Social and Cultural Events.

Since 1969, AVEPANE also promotes Information Campaigns led by a Scientific Committee made up by experts from various medical and social disciplines chaired by Dr. María Isabel Vegas de Sosa, having organized up to the current date up to thirty-three National and Latin American events: Congresses, Seminars, Courses, Lectures, inviting national and international experts of the highest scientific level; all the countries of America from Canada and the United States to Argentina, including the Islands of the Caribbean, countless countries of Europe, Israel and the Middle East. Venezuela has been visited by 142 experts and they have left us their knowledge, their experience and their motivation delivering conferences on Bioethics, Genetics, Diabetes, Hypothyrodism, Perinatology and the latest facts in the world on Special Education.
